Lakia Kelly has established a successful 11-year career in healthcare with her skills and expertise. Starting off her education at the Riverside School of Nursing, she has previous floor experience in long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities. Lakia’s experience gave her insight on how everyday operations function in each role and at each facility. Combined with her dedication to enhancing care and lives of residents, Lakia understands what medical offices need in order to provide the best care for their patients.
Lakia also served in the military as a Human Resource Specialist. She guided over 500 soldiers with blended learning techniques and organizational development to achieve a positive climate and increased overall workplace morale. Lakia also balanced customer service for 150 personnel, managed a $1.5 million payroll, and prepared military personnel actions such as Noncommisioned Evaluation Reports and Officer Evaluation Reports. With her leadership, five staff members achieved a 95% success rate with timeliness and effective processing goals of personnel actions.
